A necessary choice related, first of all, to the <strong>performance of Volteco technology<\/strong> in the presence of water but also to the <strong>ease of installation<\/strong> on large horizontal square footage. A feature, this one, that distinguishes the Amphibia membrane, making it the ideal solution for the final project, considering the <strong>very tight timeframe<\/strong> of the various project tranches and the presence of 2-story basements with constantly <strong>active drainage systems<\/strong>. Not to forget, then, the complexity of handling operations on such a <strong>complex and deep <\/strong>site where Amphibia sheets, thanks to their lightness, really made the difference.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;38393&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; alignment=&#8221;right&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The presence of particularly smooth horizontal and vertical laying surfaces facilitated the start of the work because it made possible to limit the operations of surfaces regularization and, on other hand, it permitted to save time and energy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Before casting slab and walls<\/strong> has been carried out horizontal application of <a href=\"https:\/\/volteco.com\/en\/products\/amphibia-3000\"><strong>Amphibia<\/strong><\/a> on lean concrete and, after, vertical application on the walls by nailing, taking advantage of the innovative self-sealing capacity of the sheets.<\/p>\n<p>The operations were particularly <strong>rapid<\/strong>, even where &#8220;more complex&#8221; geometries had to be followed with the sheets both horizontally (e.g., in elevator pits) and vertically in some particular areas, <strong>thanks to the lightness, manageability and flexibility of Volteco&#8217;s innovative membrane<\/strong>.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]This is just one of Amphibia&#8217;s many installations on <strong>prestigeous projects<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Launched on the market in <strong>2017<\/strong>, it immediately revolutionized the concept of waterproofing, obtaining important awards in the construction industry and international certifications but, above all, the consensus of industry professionals, both in Italy and abroad, from the United States to Hong Kong, passing through the main European and Middle Eastern markets, where it is often chosen for waterproofing basements of new buildings or existing structures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PROJECT:<\/strong> Mixed residential-commercial building construction<\/p>\n<p><strong>NAME:<\/strong>
