The excavation was carried out in different blocks using provisional metal works (metal sheets) and formwork taking into account the strongly sandy soil considering the proximity of the area to the coast.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;66204&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]The presence of the aquifer at about -3 meters below the ground level (with a pumping system always active during all operations) was decisive in the choice of <strong>Amphibia<\/strong> as a waterproofing membrane. A necessary choice linked, first of all, to the <strong>performance of Volteco technology<\/strong> in the presence of salty water but also to the <strong>ease of installation<\/strong> that distinguishes the <strong>Amphibia<\/strong> membrane, considering that the final project envisaged that the basements were 2 floors below ground level. Not to be forgotten, then, is the difficulty of laying operations in winter on such a complex construction site and <strong>Amphibia<\/strong> technology, thanks to its reduced sensitivity to environmental variables around it, has really made a <strong>difference<\/strong>.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;66206&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]Once the numerous pile heads had been regularized and sealed, the slab and walls were <strong>waterproofed<\/strong>, providing for the installation of <strong>Amphibia<\/strong> horizontally on the cleaning slab and vertically on the walls with mixed technique, obviously taking advantage of the <strong>self-sealing<\/strong> capacity of the sheets.<\/p>\n<p><strong>High elasticity<\/strong> on cracks,<strong> good workability<\/strong> at low temperatures, <strong>speed of installation<\/strong> thanks to nailing and the fact that it is not subject to problems in case of rain have been sure <strong>winning factors<\/strong> for the application.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;66202&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]This is just one of <strong>Amphibia<\/strong>&#8216;s many installations.
